Here is my first Christmas card (green one below) - it arrived on Monday and reminded me, that it really is not that early and maybe I should get around to doing some myself. I was reading a Christmas planner that said to start writing them out a few each night about 6 weeks before Christmas, sending off any overseas ones, and then begin posting in December.

However I've been so enjoying blogland, that comments and posts are they only kind of writing I've done at home lately. SO I wrote on one I had made previously and sent it to my creative Aunt the next day. I'm not sure if she made this herself as there was nothing on the back and I forgot to write handmade on mine too. My creation is on the right, made from bits and pieces I picked up from the' stitches and craft show' one year.

So if I'm missing from here for a few days, OR DON'T GET TO VISIT YOU I mlght just be writing out those Christmas cards for family and friends.

OF COURSE I WILL HAVE TO VISIT MY BLOG ON SATURDAY (AUSSIE TIME) WHICH WILL SHOW UP AS FRIDAY WHEN PUBLISHED AS I HAVE NOTICED ON THE GIVE-AWAY POST

  3. I love handmade cards, when I make them, I write on the back "made just for you" and date them next to that. Some people keep them until the next year. Now, I have been keeping some of my cards for years.
Every Tuesday My friend Doris and I go to a Scrapbooking class and yesterday we made bags and tags, they are great. Wish I knew how to post them on my blog.

  10. I've been taking the easy way out and getting the pre printed ones for a few years now. I felt guilty at first but that lasted about 5 seconds!
