I have taken to choosing a new cup and saucer from my collection each week and using it during my morning ritual of making a pot of tea with loose leaf tea and enjoying drinking it from fine china. I usually do this around morning tea time. Last week I chose this beautiful set by Royal Albert, called Memory Lane.
Yeh!! Finally after 7 years I have matching baskets on the open kitchen shelves. I've smiled each morning this week when I've walked into the kitchen and reached for a china mug for that first cup of tea. I only had 2 baskets that matched before, but Kmart had ones, very similiar to my matching ones, for only $10 each last week. So Voila!!

Just had to show you my new faux cupcakes that arrived today from Mandii at Shabby Vintage Dreams
Finally after 2 months of having a car that didn't work we were able to get this little beauty on the weekend. Someone gave us the money to buy it, which was a miracle. It sure is wonderful for getting around and economical on fuel. I like the colour too!
Today's Verse: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Hi there, I live in a beautiful mountain country cottage in Australia. I love teaparties, the shabby pink/green vintage look and quilts. I currently enjoy sewing for my grand daughter and "Dress-A-Girl-Around-the-World-Australia"
