My heart is heavy and prays for mercy as I write this, the death toll is 84 and expected to rise and at least 750 homes lost in Victoria. There are fires in NSW and SA also.
I have just heard a few raindrops on the roof to bring the high temps down here. We want rain but pray there is no lightning that starts fire. For more of the story please visit http://shabbyartboutique.blogspot.com/

I thought about all my fellow Australian bloggers last night when I read the news of the fires online. Having lived in the Bay Area (California) and watched first hand a wiildfire take the homes of my friends (fortunately no deaths in that fire) and then visiting the ashes of their homes...my heart goes out to all affected. Take care, Renee
ReplyDeleteI pray that rain quenches the fire, that the Lord saves those souls, He quells the flame on earth and ignites a new flame in our hearts.
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy.
Every time I turn on the news I read or hear about this horrible fire in Australia. Living in California, we have had our share of wild fires and they are so devistating. My heart goes out to those people who have lost their homes and for the loved ones lost. May GOD be with them and their families in this great time of need.
